Model of the Viraat Ramayan Mandir unveiled on 13th November, 2013

The model of the proposed Virat Ramayan Mandir was unveiled by Shri Nitish Kumar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar in the presence of Dwarka Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati in Patna on 13th November, 2013. The function was inaugurated by Dwarka Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati. He has blessed the temple model.

A pendant bearing a picture of Lord Hanuman and Viraat Ramayan Mandir on the reverse side:

During Wednesday’s unveiling ceremony, the Bihar’s chief minister has also released a pendant bearing a picture of Lord Hanuman in the front and the design of the Viraat Ramayan Mandir on the back. The pendant has been made in Bangalore and its golden shine will sustain for 50 years. People can buy it for Rs. 501 from Mahavir Mandir.

Many other coins containing images of various Gods and Goddesses viz. Shri Rama, Krishna, Durga, Kali, Saraswati, Lakshmi has been made for this purpose which have the image of Viraat Ramayan Mandir on reverse side.
